Mars is much
like the earth at one look. Mars has polar ice caps, clouds
in the air, volcanoes, and canyons. However those features
on Mars vary wildly from what we know on our own planet.
Since the mid nineteen-sixties, Mars spacecrafts have
shown us that the surface of Mars is rocky, cold, and
barren. The most important discovery of all is the possible
existence of liquid water on Mars. Water is key because
almost everywhere we find water on the earth, we find
life. If Mars once had liquid water, or still does today,
it is worth exploring the the possibilities for life on
Mars. |
